[Arbitrum Joins Global Dollar Network, USDG Officially Launches on Arbitrum Network]
Arbitrum has joined the Paxos-led Global Dollar Network, and the stablecoin USDG is now live on the Arbitrum network. USDG is integrated with DeFi protocols such as Morpho, GMX, Fluid, and Maple, with Kraken providing deposit and withdrawal services. Uniswap plans to integrate USDG in the future. The Global Dollar Network allocates reserve asset yields to its partners. ArbitrumDAO has received a governance proposal recommending that USDG growth be prioritized as a strategic focus, with an additional 100 million ARB allocated to the DRIP incentive program to support USDG liquidity. This proposal has not yet been approved.
