Liang Fengyi: Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commission is studying extending the securities trading hours

The Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, Leung Fung yee, stated that measures to reform the market microstructure are being studied, including extending the securities trading hours and taking the lead in implementing them in the derivatives market. The Hong Kong Stock Exchange will release a discussion document in the fourth quarter regarding the extension of spot market trading hours.
