BlackRock Financial Management, BlackRock Japan, SBI Holdings, and Startale Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore linking their tokenized money market fund with SBI's Japanese yen stablecoin, JPYSC. The three parties will assess the feasibility of the connection in three areas: technological infrastructure, business and distribution, and regulatory and market development, and plan to open the collaboration to Japanese and international financial institutions and enterprises. SBI launched JPYSC with Startale in June of this year; the stablecoin is managed and issued by SBI Shinsei Trust Bank, and distributed by SBI VC Trade. (Source: The Block)
