BlackRock Financial Management, BlackRock Japan, SBI Holdings, and Startale Group signed a Memorandum of Understanding to explore linking their tokenized money market fund with SBI's Japanese yen stablecoin, JPYSC. The three parties will assess the feasibility of the connection in three areas: technological infrastructure, business and distribution, and regulatory and market development, and plan to open the collaboration to Japanese and international financial institutions and enterprises. Arthur Hayes outlined his vision for the Flop Network, stating that FLOPs are the food for AI agents and can be directly exchanged for computing power (FLOPS). Hayes believes that if Flop becomes an AI agent payment network, the FLOP/computing power exchange rate will become a global benchmark for spot computing power. The Flop Network generates blocks every second and calculates the FLOP/computing power exchange rate by recording inference task latency, floating-point operations, and transaction fees. The network supports reserving computing power for the next 30 days and standardizing it into tradable Flop computing power units (FCU).
