Anthropic repurchased and resold shares seized by the U.S. government, raising $627 million.

In October 2025, Anthropic repurchased 4.4539 million Series B preferred shares seized by the U.S. government for approximately $627 million and resold them to nine accredited investors at the same price. These shares are currently valued at approximately $3.94 billion.
