Shaw, co-founder of ai16z, launched the Hyperliquid-source project on GitHub to reverse engineer Hyperliquid nodes. Currently, 44 contributors are involved, with the goal of building Hyperliquid nodes that can be compiled from source code and connected to the network. This project is independent research and not officially released by Hyperliquid; no working node has been implemented yet. Shaw previously reverse-engineered the Pump.fun contract and subsequently received a lawyer's letter from Bracket Company, the parent company of Pump.fun.
