[Multiple South Korean Brokerages Lower Target Prices for Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix]
According to South Korean media reports, due to concerns over the peak of the memory chip industry and intensified competition, multiple brokerages have lowered the target prices for Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. Kiwoom Securities reduced Samsung Electronics' target price from 390,000 KRW to 350,000 KRW (approximately $250) and SK Hynix's target price from 2,200,000 KRW to 2,100,000 KRW. Mirae Asset Securities lowered Samsung Electronics' target price from 550,000 KRW to 370,000 KRW and SK Hynix's target price from 4,200,000 KRW to 2,800,000 KRW. Shinhan Securities adjusted Samsung Electronics' target price from 590,000 KRW to 450,000 KRW and SK Hynix's target price from 4,200,000 KRW to 2,700,000 KRW. Samsung Securities decreased Samsung Electronics' target price from 500,000 KRW to 400,000 KRW and SK Hynix's target price from 3,500,000 KRW to 3,000,000 KRW.
