According to Sina Finance, Google has spun off a team that studies the risks and social impacts of artificial intelligence from DeepMind. The team of about 90 people will be merged into Google's global affairs department, which oversees lobbying, public relations, and public policy, next week. This architecture adjustment occurred after Demis Hassabis, co-founder and former CEO of DeepMind, became chairman.
