According to Polish radio, the Polish House of Representatives failed to overturn President Karol Nawrocki's veto of the cryptocurrency market regulation bill. In the vote, out of 442 attending legislators, 241 supported overturning the veto, 198 opposed it, and 3 abstained, falling 25 votes short of the required 266 votes. This is Karol Nawrocki's third veto of the bill. The bill is intended to be supervised by the Financial Supervisory Authority (KNF) in the cryptocurrency market. The president believes that the bill excessively regulates and forces Polish companies to relocate. Prime Minister Donald Tusk called for support for the bill before the vote and mentioned an investigation into the bankrupt Zondacrypto exchange.
