[Michael Saylor: The Digital Asset Industry Should Protect Innovation by Expanding Adoption]
On September 20, Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor stated that the digital asset industry should leverage the next two years to advance the implementation of compliant products with the support of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission, Treasury Department, and banking regulators, rather than accepting the restrictions imposed by the CLARITY Act on stablecoin rewards, service providers, and innovation pilots. Michael Saylor advocates for the establishment of a financial innovation market with clear rules, open access, and robust competition, allowing the development of products such as Bitcoin, digital credit, tokenized securities, trading platforms, and stablecoins. He believes the industry should expand product adoption between 2027 and 2028. If 50 million U.S. users can benefit from low-cost payments, Bitcoin services, and digital securities, widespread adoption will increase the political cost of reversing policies, forming the foundation for protecting digital innovation.
