KelpDAO sues LayerZero and Lianchuang, demanding accountability for the rsETH attack incident

KelpDAO has filed a lawsuit against LayerZero and its co-founder Bryan Pellegrino, demanding accountability for the rsETH cross chain bridge attack. The lawsuit claims that LayerZero did not disclose technical weaknesses, failed to prevent infrastructure penetration, and had previously acknowledged KelpDAO's deployment in writing. Bryan Pellegrino stated that KelpDAO's claim lacks basis and will be sued in Vancouver. On April 18, 2026, the KelpDAO rsETH cross chain bridge was attacked, resulting in a loss of approximately 116500 rsETH worth approximately $292 million.
