Multiple European regulatory agencies review Binance's use of MiCA exemptions to serve EU customers
The European Securities and Markets Authority and regulatory agencies in France, Germany, and Greece are reviewing Binance's use of MiCA reverse solicitation exemptions to provide services to some EU clients without authorization. Binance withdrew its MiCA authorization application in Greece in June and stated that it will apply for authorization from another EU member state. The European Securities and Markets Authority calls for strengthening enforcement powers against non EU companies that solicit European investors without MiCA authorization. (Source: Reuters)
