Tokyo's September core CPI rose 2.7% year-on-year, higher than expected and previous values

According to data released by the Japanese Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, the consumer price index in Tokyo, excluding fresh food, rose by 2.7% year-on-year in September, higher than the median expectation of 2.3% by economists and the increase of 1.8% last month.
