Velocity opens up claims for theft compensation, with an initial redemption rate of approximately 1% of the loss

Solana Ecological Perpetual Contract Exchange Velocity has opened the application for compensation for the theft incident in April. Users can receive 1 DFX token for every 1 USDT loss, and the current redemption rate is 0.0104 USDT per DFX, which is approximately 1% of the loss. At present, the compensation pool size is about 3.11 million USDT, and the total supply of DFX is about 299.5 million pieces, with no further issuance. The Velocity Foundation stated that the compensation pool will continue to be injected with agreement revenue, and Tether has promised to provide up to 127.5 million USDT to support restarts and user compensation.
