The Finance Committee of the French National Assembly is reviewing ten cryptocurrency amendments in the 2027 budget, including a tax on stablecoin exchange transactions, a cryptocurrency exit tax, and a 10-year measure to carry forward cryptocurrency losses. The proposal to extend the personal wealth tax to cryptocurrency has been rejected, and some self custodial wallet declarations and platform fines are still under consideration.
