The Moscow Stock Exchange is piloting cryptocurrency trading with professional participants and plans to launch regulated cryptocurrency trading services on December 1st. Boris Blokhin, Managing Director of the Securities Market, stated that the relevant tests were launched a week ago, and the existing license of the Moscow Stock Exchange covers cryptocurrency trading services. The relevant cryptocurrency market regulations in Russia have come into effect on September 1st, allowing citizens to trade cryptocurrencies on domestic exchanges licensed by the Russian Central Bank. Investors who do not have the status of qualified investors face investment limit restrictions, with trading scope limited to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT.
